Open Mic in Kew Soiree. 3/06/08 ![]() Thanks to everyone who made the Open Mic in Kew Autumn Soiree a huge success. We were all so busy having a blast that nobody thought to take a photo. Tim had set up his small PA with fold back, and some red and green fill lights. There was rows of seats and some couches. 12 or so performers made for a great and diverse selection of music, from jazz piano, through singer songwriters, pausing at feature artist Tim Warmington and ending up with some J.S. Bach for solo violin. Yes siree, great stuff. The next soiree will be Tuesday 3rd June

The Open Mic in Kew is Underway. 1/06/07 For the opening night we were lucky to have Leigh Sloggett, Trevor Shard of Netherby Brothers(and Australian Songwriters Association) fame as well as Frank O'Brien and co. with his own particle accelerator fused blend of folk and jazz(entirely my description, not sure what you make of this Frank?). We were also graced with the presence of the perennial John Dale and another fellow who's name must remain undisclosed for reasons of national security. ----------------------------------------
